Loud Crackling Noise

I have a 2022 RWD. It was built in April (colored icons) and uPdated last month. Yesterday and today I heard a loud crackling noise like manually crushing a plastic water bottle or an aluminum can. I was driving on a quiet neighborhood street the first time it happened. Today it happened while driving on the freeway.

The noise startled me both times, and my wife thought the batteries were about to explode. It sounded like several stone fragments were rapidly hitting the windshield for two seconds. But when I got home, there were no cracks or pits on the windshield or pano roof. The crackling didn’t last long enough for me to record it.

I couldn’t pinpoint where the sound was coming from because it was coming from all over. I was Bluetoothing music on my fully-charged Android phone, and I wonder if the sound was coming from the Bose speakers … ?

Other threads on this forum mention a crackling noise during seat adjustment. I never adjusted my seat, but the front passenger seat was adjusted about a week ago.

MyPorsche knows where my car is, and Porsche Portal shows green for all Connect Services. I park my car in the garage and lock it every night.

Has anyone else had this problem, and do you have a diagnosis and solution?

Waiting on my taycan but this sounds to me the same thing like teslas have. The changing heat on the aluminum that creates the sound. Nothing to worry if it’s just that
