My Taycan won’t arrive until Q1 22 however, I have driven a couple.
I found the large bottom screen to be a bit of a waste in terms of lacking in functionality, compared with say, my iPace which allows me to choose what I want to display (within reason) such as phone, music, climate etc…
Unless I’m mistaken it seems the only thing that can be displayed on that huge screen is climate and that seems a bit of a waste…
Any thoughts form current owners?

-There are shortcut buttons for radio, navigation, settings, etc. (which you can even hide).
-It sets temp and seat ventilation/warming, aircon etc.
-It shows charging state, shortcut for preheating or direct charging.
-It operates the front and back lid and both charge ports.
-It's a mouse pad.
Excuse me but what do you mean by "lacking in functionality"?

I’m sort of repeating myself but with such a big screen I’d have thought you’d be able to have your music show up on there at least, album artwork that sort of thing.
I have the ipace set up with driver info on the driver screen, nav on the main screen and “music or phone or climate” on lower screen interchangeable with the swipe of a finger. It works well. So I was surprised to see that that Taycan doesn’t do that. Just wondering why and thinking it looks a bit bland in what is otherwise a very high tech car.

It's also a writing pad and swipe panel for navigating the central panel.
