Lucid Air Sapphire Edition

Saw this was just announced. 1200+ HP Tri-Motor and 0-60 under 2sec. I think it looks quite a bit better than the current trims available. No more Buick looks, which was a reason I had cancelled my Dream Edition reservation. I don't think it's worth $250K though, that's way to much. They've also delivered less than 1000 units so far.

Very pretty and what a HP monster. I like that exists just to shut up the Model S Plaid fanboys even for a little bit.

We an continue to enjoy and drive our cars, and the Plaid boys have lost their bragging rights for the time being.

Is this worth 2 Plaid's? I don't think so. And I wonder if the laggy infotainment has been fixed yet?

The problem with these upstart EV companies is overpromising and under-delivering of actual cars. And the higher the price, the less likely I would be willing to spend on an unproven (long-term) car and brand, especially with no service centers nearby.

I just don't get it I guess. Even if you really want a Lucid, I'd rather get the $150k model and another $100k car of your choice for tracking.
