Macan EV weight and size

So the Macan EV has a smaller footprint but 300lbs heavier. That surprised me. The battery is a bit bigger and it doesn’t have the transmission. Is it just the battery? Taller vehicle? Heavier/cheaper materials? Interesting. I’m also curious if it can hold the same cargo - those specs are close. Need to do a instacrate test!

I agree on the no SUVs - I’m a wagon fan! Interested in the weight size balance and thought the macan would be a step lighter.

my calculation was 679 lbs heavier.. RWD vs macan 4, and 473 lbs heavier to 4s. i think in real world, the m4 will have substantially less range than marketing materials quote
