Indeed. January is miserable - which is why I usually go skiing. But that is not an option that is open to me this year. Again. So a new car will be nice!

That's interesting my build was 14th Dec date so due early Jan and dealer says we have it matrix lighting is excellent as got on Range Rover I know its not end of the world but when have been used to it you would be disappointed if not on new car but live in the sticks so maybe just me

thanks for sharing. Not so good news for my januari productions. I will have to chose for my januari production to go for PDLS plus without matrix or wait 12 more weeks. And as I need the pano roof for the roof rails I will have to wait 6 weeks anyway.

Lets see what the dealer has to say about this. When I have an appointment next week.

Did you configure a 4S? Pdls + is standard on the 4S but not on the 4. Or maybe they have removed it. Ps 2.100 dollar that’s a bargain. In Belgium it’s 3.200 euro.

My English is not so good. Could you clarify this?
Is the allocation month the date the allocations is given (date when the order was signed) or the is this the date the dealer said the production would be?

I signed my contract 3 weeks ago and I have added matrix lights two weeks ago. The dealer said production would be around 17th of januari. I got a production slot of someone who canceled his order.

I believe the latter, I.e. the allocation for your production slot in the factory.

My car just went into production and should be ready by week 1. I have both Matrix LED and pano roof spec’d. Not sure how these delays work. Or perhaps allocations are different for different markets?

I ordered and placed a deposit 5 months ago now and want the matrix lights so what do I do?

I have had no indication of when my car may go into build or whether the option will re-appear later once availability of the parts improves.

Having waited this long I would rather continue to wait than have a car without. I keep cars a long time (unless I hate them) so probably will have the Taycan at least 5 years and I don't want to regret the spec every time I drive in the dark

I have just done a Sport Turismo GTS config, just in case
I am thinking I would be able to do a personalised setup as comfy as a Cross Turismo "normal" using individual settings, and may even enjoy doing it, and it isn't much more expensive if I drop the active ARBs

Nice - apparently in Jan there will be more ST variants - 4S ST - more sensible price etc. and I can’t believe the matrix won’t make a comeback soon.

Just had a call from my dealer. Matrix lights not available for my January build . Chose to settle with pdls+. I first ordered it like this anyway and added them three weeks ago. I don’t want to wait months for the matrix light. As I understood standard LED with pdls plus also have automatic high beam but decrease the high beam when coming closer and when to close switches the high beam off.

Just hope that I won’t get a call about Bose tomorrow (see other thread). I already told him I won’t settle with basic audio and expect a good deal on Burmester if Bose is unavailable.
