@snstevens
Thanks for the recommendations.

The spouse doesn’t like the GTS package that’s why I picked the Blackberry leather.

I will be adding the panoramic roof with variable light control.

Will probably go with the 14 way seats with heat/cool. Will probably forego the massage since I don’t do a lot of long distance driving. I’ve read several posts that states the 14 way seats has more cushion than the 18 way seat.

Will probably forego the 4-zone climate control since I will very rarely have anyone in the back.

Still on the fence about the 19.2 kW on board charger.

Are your Mission Es the same as the exterior color?
Have you had any issues with dye transfer on the limestone beige seats?

The Mission Es are silver with black spokes (standard), but the silver matches either a Carrera White or Ice Gray nicely.

There has been a bit of jean-dye transfer, but it comes off surprisingly well with Mother's Leather Cleaner (better result than I've experienced on other leather seats). That said, I think darker seats remove that concern altogether. Blackberry looks great on the configurator.

There are some post-purchase costs you might also consider as you are finalizing your configuration and overall spend.

First, I recommend at time of purchase that you buy the Wheel Package, and a Cosmetic Damage package (8 free repairs when you curb the wheels) from the dealer if they offer that. It seems inevitable that you will scratch the wheels at some point, and should you really hit a bad pothole and bend a rim that is covered too. In my case it was ~$2,200 for both. I've used three of the cosmetic repairs, all of which happened soon after purchase (yes, I'm an idiot - I know).

Another post-purchase investment would be PPF for at least the front half of the car, and Ceramic coating for the whole thing. Adds some peace of mind when you are driving and those rocks fly up, plus the ceramic coating seals the paint surface nicely.

If you decide to go 19.2KW for the on-board charger, you can also opt for the Porsche Wall Charger Connect (PWCC). However, under no circumstance should you purchase the PMCC since it is a flawed product with issues that Porsche has at yet not resolved. Start by reading @daveo4EV 's thread on EVSE/PMC+/PMCC/PWCC that summarizes both the issues with the PMCC and has links to many solid alternatives.

@snstevens I will definitely ask about the wheel package and get some recommendations from the dealership for a shop to do the PPF.

I know color choices are personal preferences… strongly considering white exterior, blackberry interior w/white stitching.

I’ll go with your recommendation not get the PMCC.
Will probably not get the 19.2kW on-board charger.

Just picked up a ‘22 CT4S. Amazing piece of machinery! First non-manual sports car in our garage. Previously owned notables included a 964 C4, 590hp wrx sti, focus RS and M2. Miss the 964 but not the wonky HVAC system! For a computer on wheels the Taycan has an amazing feel and very linear and so well grounded.

Hey all

Another new UK member.

I've got a Sports Turismo 4S on order via salary sacrifice with a build date just confirmed for March 2023. First time going electric and owning a Porsche so very excited

Tell what you think. Here is the code for what I hope is my final decision. I still have a couple weeks before Freeze Date though.

Hello everyone, just took delivery of mt CT4 2 weeks ago and still can’t stop smiling ?. Mine is moderately equipped: Offroad package, CT 21” wheels in gloss black, black roof rails, sport chrono, 4+1 seating, premium package, adaptive cruise control and the only option my wife cares about - massaging seats. Had PPF on the front of the car anf ceramic coating on the entire car and wheels done immediately after delivery. Installed 15mm spacers all around, which I think is perfect for the CT. Really looking forward to many many many miles with this beauty.
Hope to meetup with other Taycan drivers here in the Northeastern US. I live in Delaware by the way.

Hiya,

owning my Taycan 4S since October 2020 and would like to say hello ?

50tkm driven by now, never owned such an amazing car before which combines a sportscar even as a luxury Sedan.

Some images from here, incl. Alps and Racetrack Leipzig (won the Taycan competition 2 times ?). I like the classical Porsche colour combination silver/red, even it has the same configuration as my 987 RS60 Spyder.

Hi!

I’m 35, from France.

I ordered a Taycan CT4 in replacement of my 3 years old Audi e-tron 55 Quattro, delivery estimated around december 2023 (Porsche code PP69ERU3).
Will join my 2022 guard red 911 Carrera S!

We’ll see if this 2024 MY will be mid-lifed-refreshed or not (my order will be send to Porsche around july)…

Hi Folks,

Michael from Ireland here, currently driving a 2017 Panamera 4-E which is about to be traded in for a Taycan 4s. Won't be leaving the combustion engine totally behind as have an old timer 1979 Porsche 928 as well. Build date for the new car was 3rd of March so waiting for the car to land into Ireland and get going.

Cheers
Michael
