Mobile Charger Connect burning

Hi, has anyone had any issues with burning when using a commando socket? I have been using mine for 6 months without issue but smelt burning tonight and saw this. Could it be the charger or the commando socket? I have unplugged the car immediately and it’s cooling down.

It l ooks like something is burning behind that socket cover. Maybe there is a wire connection in there that is loose and causes this overheat.

Good job you smelt it and turned it off. That socket cover needs to come off and see what is going on behind it… just pull the fuse first - or get an electrician
