Multiple Taycan CT orders

Given the wait to get an allocation for a 4CT is now 8 months since placing an order and deposit with no sign of anything happening soon, along with the UK withdrawal of BOSE on the 4.... I've decided to order a CT but this time a 4s from a different Porsche centre.
Given the wait for the 4s is about 12 months, I feel it would be better to get the spec I desire rather than spend 100k for a compromised build without BOSE. At least the deposit is refundable depending what happens.
Anyone else taken this approach?

Do you not need to move to a model where Bose is standard to be sure of getting it i.e. a Turbo? Might be all sorted in 12 months, but if not, you may be no better off
