MY24 or MY25?

I always thought that Porsche (and other car manufacturers) changed their MY during the summer shutdown typically in July/Aug. Therefore 24MY starts production in Sept 2023 and 25MY in about Sept 2024. It seems Porsche 25MY is available in early 2024 though. Did I miss something?

I think MY25 cars refer to the Mk 2 version of the Taycan.

I suspect while it’s available to order in early 2024, by the time Porsche gets around to building it, it will be 2025…or within a couple months.

Always the same with Porsche with MY updates announced around this time and customer deliveries Aug onwards. Cars will be in showrooms but customer orders typically follow later.
