I’m sure I read at the time I ordered that you need this to be able to put the back seats down which is why I optioned it. I could be misremembering though
Standard 2 seat rear arrangement facilitates this too and both seats will fold.

4+1 provides a centre split for say skis or can be used as a middle seat with seatbelt also. If you don't need to transport 3 people in the rear then the 4+1 is generally not needed.

Good afternoon and thanks for your replies. The sales person has suggested I remove the PASM and the Porsche LED to reduce the cost. I have read up about PASM and I am none the wiser to be very honest. As usual, your thoughts re the practicality and importance of PASM would be appreciated.

For me, PASM is very important, though I've heard good things said about the ride comfort of Taycans that don't have it.
To quote Porsche, PASM gives increased driving stability, improved comfort and enhanced performance. In addition:
Being able to raise the car 20mm could come in handy, or might even be essential in some circumstances;
Being able to drop it 22mm for improved range, or handling (only available in Sport plus mode).
