Frank,
Just like my experience from earlier in this thread.
You may want to get in your car and start it. When I got in my car this morning the car ran an update for about 2 minutes on the glare shield center display.
Thanks, Rick. I followed your advice and switched on the car (did not drive it, though) but saw no apparent updating activity. I will keep an eye on it. Take care.

Frank,
I had a thought. If you or I would not have stayed to hear the radios and see the screens come alive they would have potentially run all night draining the 12 volt battery. Thoughts?

What is your PCM software version? Mine is 3276 for PCM and the UI version is from January 14th even though the car was a September build

Took the same photo last night. Mine is the same as your screen shot.

Rick, not impossible. My car was not in the process of being charged, though. I happen to bring in the car at the dealership tomorrow to fix a slight rattle on the passenger's side. They will also do a full diagnostic. I will try to find out whether Porsche has any recent insights into the 12V mystery. Will let the forum know if I learn anything of interest.

Does anyone know what the UI software version is for the 2021 models?

Can I get Park Assist to work on my 2020 model. I have 360 degree view and all the features needed on my 4s (I think..)

That’s what we all want but none of us have an answer for at this point.

We are “patiently” waiting for someone at Porsche to let the early adopters know through the dealerships or some press release whether we get the 2021 upgrades OTA or left behind because we bought into their vision early.

Found this typo after yesterday’s firmware update on the central display Shortcuts buttons page.
Instrument cluster butto
(believe they meant button);)

@REIL do you have a 2020 or 2021 MY? other than a typo, did you notice any differences?

MY20.
Have not noticed anything else yet. Only the park assist icon mentioned earlier in this thread.

I found the same "butto" version on my MY2020 4S (delivered mid-October) today whereas it clearly was not spelled like that before. So, something must have updated the system yesterday, causing the Steering Wheel symbol consternation chronicled in this thread. Yet, the Version Information apparently does not show any change in User Interface or Software Version or PCM Software Information version numbers. I will try to find out more from the dealer today.

@Kingske Hopefully someone at your Porsche center can provide you with current information.
Thank you Frank.

I will be very surprised if the dealer has any clue ?.

It is weird that they update without changing the versions... Btw, there is also a text version. Mine is 32.30_20191025

One explanation is that they did not update the software but they updated its configuration/settings. There might be a config version that is changing that we don't see. For the steering wheel parking button it might be just an on/off flag in the config that they flipped to "on" and the icon changed but the software version is still the same.
Like your phone, where you have an iOS/Android version but you can customize the look with settings.
