Hi,
Picked up new Taycan today and it's already off to a bad start
- Porsche Connect is not working to login to the PCM - gave up in the end after 1.5 hr at the dealership trying to get it working on car handover. They left it with a "The porsche servers must be busy as it's the end of the month" BS line - I'd had enough and left deciding to try again later when I got home.
I've tried tonight again and still no joy with the PCM saying "Login is not possible at present. Please try again later"
Below is what has been tried thus far at dealer when picking the car up.
- Reset MyPorsche password
- Ensuring Private mode is off (the car says it's deactivated but when I check MyPorsche Website/Connect Store for the services it says car is in Private mode, not sure if that's expected as I can't login to it - when logging into PCM as guest it says Private mode is deactivated)
- Reset PCM to Factory setting
- Powered off car waited 10 mins tried again.
- Tried logging in multiple times 10+
All of the above didn't solve the problem, my iPhone login to Connect and MyPorsche work ok, logging in to the web page on desktop PC also works ok. i.e. the username and password is fine.
Any further ideas before waiting another day and calling Porsche Support or Dealer again?
