I can't enable "Intelligent preheat/precool" from the Porsche Connect iPhone app. When I slide the switch on, I get a red banner at the top of the Connect app that reads:
Unable to adopt your settings. Please try again later. (error: 239_GR_pc)
The error message pops up almost instantaneously so it feels like the app isn't even processing the request, and just throwing the error. It almost feels like a bug in the app itself, although the app itself is so flaky that I can't be certain. I can control everything else (horn, lights, etc.) and I can see the status of my battery and climate just fine, so I am connected to the vehicle. It's just this one feature. (see screen shot).
I spent 90 minutes on the phone last night with Porsche technical support and the agent told me that this error code wasn't even in his database. We tried a million different things and tried connecting my phone to the car a dozen different ways. We set up timers and explores all sorts of workarounds and couldn't solve this problem. The agent said he'd research it more offline and call me back (haven't heard back yet)
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? Are you able to turn this feature on?
Thanks! This is driving me nuts.
