New PCM anomaly

Hey everyone,

I was trying to configure my instruments today and noticed that the menu is greyed out. I was hoping to get the battery temp back on the dash. Anybody else seen this? It looks like it happened after the firmware updates, and I’m hoping to avoid another week long dealer ordeal.

Probably a temporary glitch. Lock and leave the car for 30 mins or so.

12v battery disconnect procedure to hard reset?

Typically when I do a two finger reset it happens immediately, and the precise placement of my two fingers doesn’t matter. There have been a few times that the two finger reset was difficult to initiate. I had to try multiple efforts in slightly different locations in order to trigger the reset.

Sad to say, this didn’t work. Taycan, was considerably unhappier than when I did this before the update, with all sorts of warnings about service.

Sigh… adding this to the list for my next dealer visit.

Service messages? Do you mean messages relating to wiper blades, first aid kit, tyre goo etc?

You can configure these in the PCM under Predictive Maintenance.

Yup. A bunch needed to be reset even though the dealer had done that with the last service.
