my guess is they purchased too many parking assist modules and need to work through their inventory thinking that customers would view this just as valuable as tesla's parking assist. Purely speculative but pricing is all supply and demand, so I am guessing they don't want to be stuck with a bunch of inventory they have to write off when the next version comes out.

Remote Park Assist comes with LCA, as an individual option. I didn’t go for the Tech package as it’s adds HUD (which also adds the physical HOOD above the curved screen). But I think if you get the tech package, you get remote park assist (which already includes LCA).
