Had my 4s for just 12months. 4000 miles only. Love the car and always looking for excuses to drive it. However today did a 60 mile trip it was sunny and hot and air conditioning not working? Also steering gave the impression that I was in ACC and tugging slightly on turning? And thirdly the red triangle appeared saying a collision was about happen!!
Anybody else come across these issues? Do you think they are linked never happened before
Being a black car my wife and I were sweltering. Have rung OPC to book it in.

What model.year is the car?

Possibly a pending heater failure or a random event (all messages). Lock and leave and probably the errors will have cleared.

There’s lots of Assistance Systems.
The thing fighting you for the wheel is Lane Keep Assist. You can disable it. You may also have Active Lane Keep. You may also want to turn that off. Best google the differences.
Then there’s Collision Detection Warning, which will apply the brakes and frighten the bejesus out of you. I turned that one down rather than turning it off. I find it happens when a car passes in front of you at T junctions.
There’s some helpful stuff on all of the above on You Tube. And in the manual inside the Porsche App.

My My21 Air Con has been ok but a 2023 loaner I recently had no cold air con on a long hot drive which included 4 road closures during last months hot spell. We were dreading it not working next day but it was fine and didn’t reoccur.

Your Taycan will likely delight and infuriate you in equal measure. And depreciate like nothing you’ve previously owned. There’s lots of helpful stuff and people here.

I missed the tugging but as mentioned it will be the hugely annoying lane keep assist (LKA) which is standard and endeavours to ensure you stay in lane by making autonomous adjustments. It is dependent on the camera behind the rear view mirror and well defined road markings which as we know can be pretty faded. Normally there is an accompanying audible growling sound associated too. Both are configurable.

If you have Adaptive Cruise Control then that can add further lane control.

For the ACC tugging and collision warning issues, I'd start with cleaning out the cameras (at least windshield and the cyclops eye under the bumper) and the ultrasonic sensors around the car.

For the no AC (and other problems), first step is always to turn off and lock the car, walk away for 40 minutes, come back and see if anything started working again. It's an equivalent of restarting your computer/phone/tablet when things stop working as expected.

Took car out last night for 30 mile trip and absolutely no issues?? Air conditioning fine, steering normal and no collision warnings!
A mystery to me but a bit worrying.

Its a Taycan..therefore normal behaviour as the software is not all that and we've just become accustomed to its idiosyncrasies.

I’ve had the heater replaced but since then the aircon has stopped working just once. Stopped the car, locked it, unlocked and set off, all working fine. It is funny how true the old adage of turning IT off then back on again often fixes the Taycan.

for your AC just make sure it is not in eco pro mode. That turns down cooling capacity a lot. Or make sure AC is switched on anyway. Even in eco mode cooling is less but you should feel colder air.
