Thrilled to have frozen my CT4S today. I had booked in Dec and have ben told I have a March production slot. Can't wait! Any tips on how to track the production progress/shipping?

Congrats! Booking in Dec. and getting a March production slot sounds reasonable to me. AFAIK the waiting list for other EV brands is 6+ months minimum (I read today that it's 7 months for Tesla, depending on model).

You'll love the Taycan, it's (in my mind) an absolutely mind-blowing vehicle.

You will receive an email from PNA inviting you to sign up for My Porsche. Sign up then you can see all the details for your car during the build with the end delivery date and all the milestones in between. It’s a great website BUT very hard to watch as it feels like the milestone dates are so slow. I ordered my RWD 12/31/21 and have been watching painfully everyday since. My car is now stilling at the port with a sail date of 2/25 delivering 3/25. Can’t wait!

Sadly I don't yet have a production slot and I ordered 6th September!!
I've received the email saying production will start shortly, but according to my dealer 'shortly' can mean 3 months.
Recently came back from holiday in Dubai and there aren't many Taycans there, in fact I don't think I saw a single CT, so you'll be pretty unique among all the common cars, like Bentley's, Rollers, Range Rovers by the dozen etc

Sadly, I don’t think this will be the case because in Dubai, they don’t offer Porsche Connect/ My Porsche due to lack of agreement with the local Telcos. I asked the dealer and their suggestion was that they would email me when they saw an update in their system.

Interesting - I didn’t know that! I use the My Porsche app constantly with my hybrid Cayenne for checking the battery charge status, to preheating plus numerous other functions.
The UAE is kinda weird for stuff like that

How long did it take from the first comms in Phase 1 to the end of Phase 5?
In the UK Phase 2 is a track day at Silverstone race circuit, but I’ve noticed in some countries they only have 4 Phases as they don’t have a track day, something which I won’t be attending anyway

I'm curious to know how long it takes between phase 1 and phase 3 too (phase 2 being silverstone so doesn't apply to ordering..).
