Production started four days after the initial estimated date of 1-Oct for my lightly optioned 2022 CT4. Current delivery date is estimated at 26-Nov. I will be happy with delivery any day before 31-Dec in order to cash in on the $7500 tax credit for 2021.
I did bump up my Federal W/H in case the delivery is delayed until next year. The best thing about the tax credit is that it reduces your estimated tax by the same amount for the subsequent year.
i am afraid that 2021 will be the last year for the credit on anything more than an entry level EV.
