Most of the threads on this forum are usually complaints... So I wanted to state ever since I got the update that allowed the downloading of the software that monitored the battery... My PCM has been operating flawlessly... no more blue spinning circles of death requiring the two finger salute or going into the fuse box to disconnect the PCM to force a hard boot (and several trips to the dealership to try and fix)... now I might be jinxing myself... but I have had a fully functional PCM for over 4 months now with no issues... made a car whose driving dynamics I loved but hated the PCM software even better. Now is the PCM perfect compared to the competitors- no- but I am very happy that it for the first time in over 4 years of ownership not something that I dread looking at to see if it would come up properly when I start the car.. so I guess kudos to Porsche ( though I wish it had not taken 4 years to have something you take for granted in other cars to work properly).
