Touch with two fingers next to each other in the top right corner of the main display. That reboots into the engineer menu. From that menu, just select 'reboot to normal mode', confirm it, and wait for the system to reboot. That's the only way to actually fully reboot the PCM without messing with the 12V battery / fuses.

This video also shows you how to do it. It works on any screen.
under a week of ownership. Got touch screen not responding issue. I guess the two finger reboot takes practice. Will try again when i get back to car tonight.

Unfortunately even after the upgraded software version the PCM fails to load about 10-15 percent of the time so the two finger reboot is the only way I have found to get the PCM to reload. Not sure what I will do with this car when my lease is up. I like the driving aspect but the software is garbage.
good that you are on lease. I think that i will trade in for a Lexus when the time comes. Not venturing into another German car after haha. The experience is very similar to the Leica Q that i have haha. I guess that Germans see everyone as an engineer.

Sold mine 2 weeks ago.
Stayed with porsche but will wait until the iron out all their EV issues before going back.
Less than a year, tons of stops at the dealer for BS that should never exist on a 120k car and for sure detriment the fact of the amount paid monthly wether is a lease or a purchase BUT every day on a loaner was drilling my head and finally pull the trigger and got out.

Cool that you stayed with Porsche. I am trying to make myself feel better by searching the same issues but with the GT3 Touring haha. To be honest, I don't think that these issues are isolated to Taycan other than EV specific ones. If i get out, it will be to Lexus most likely, Polestar do have interesting designs, hope that they don't have issues like the German ones. But i am going to cross my fingers on my Cross Turismo in the mean time.
