After getting brakes bleed for 40k mile I am noticing they feel somewhat soft on initial push. Trying to recall if it was like this directly after the service or only after my unfortunate life lesson of not driving through parking lots in range mode (significant undercarriage damage to be repaired in 2 weeks).

Has anyone else noticed that after brake service the engagement doesn’t seem as aggressive/assuring?

I had my brakes bled in June '23 and had the same issue which lead to the PCM control unit needing new code, which mine wouldn't take, so I ended up with a brand new PCM module being installed as well as a new hydraulic unit and a new ABS controller as well. All done in August '23 (nice 3 week wait for parts from Germany) but now it feels fantastic.
