... based on the test results on 18" tyres (?)
Relevance to vastly different dimensions and load factors is to be considered with care.
If you do watch the video; he does mention that sizes above also outperform it, as he drove them on different occasions.

But yes, it could also be a magic tire, where compound and thread behave magically, and they change with size - going from all around better than PZ4 to all around worse; as Pireli’s best strategy is to release worse products, right? Wait, no, magically inconsistent behavior, affected by size 😁

Especially when the car they advertise it on in Europe uses 23” :)

I’m going to ask my dealer in Newport Beach, CA when they anticipate getting the PZ5 since apparently it’s available in Europe. Tire Rack doesn’t offer it yet on their website.

I just replaced my tires with Pirelli P Zero R that were introduced with the Taycan GT.

Rated very good on Tire reviews you tube channel for 2026. Better in every way to the Pirelli PZ4 that came on my car originally. They are quieter, grippier and apparently have the best wet traction in the category. They also have better wear. Almost no reason to go with the PZ4 in my opinion. They are N rated if that matters to you. I do not know much about the PZ5, but if not OEM/N rated for Porsche, and if that matter to you, The P Zero R may be a better option. This video really illustrates how well it did in the comparison. I am usually a Michelin man, but I am trying to branch out.
