Less than a week too late. I just sold my last Tesla. It was only 48A though, I sold my 80A one in March. That said, if the PWCC is charging a Tesla at 80A for 30 minutes, it will likely continue without problems, other than potential overheating, but that problem should occur on Porsche as well. In J1172 mode, the EVSE does not have any idea of the SoC of the car, so if the Tesla in your experiment was at target SoC after 29 minutes, you would have succeeded charging to end state target.
Bummer! I wish we could’ve made that work out. Charging either of those Teslas would’ve been a good test.

Thanks for the offer anyway!

All I could offer you now is a Taycan and my wife's Q8 eTron, both using the very same onboard 80A AC charger part (in the eTron you can actually see it when you open the hood, it's totally exposed), but you already have that in your car. My wife and I have had "his and hers" matching cars for many, many, years. They were often same model, though usually different trim (e.g. VW Passat V6 and W8, Tesla Model S Long Range and Performance) but not always (e.g. Toyota Sienna and Lexus RX), this time similarly we stuck to the same family of cars, Taycan and eTron, since Taycan is just not "her thing" (it would be going down in cargo space from Model S, and she likes her cargo hauling capacity for her hobbies). She came close to picking a Model X, but one test drive convinced her otherwise (what of earth happened to Tesla S/X? Besides the stupid yoke, the interior felt so plastic and cheap, even compared to a 2018 Model S which was my wife's last car).

I agree - probably best to test with a vehicle that is not Porsche, Audi, or VW. I’ll keep looking.
