power brake error, recall issues

This sign, which has been occurring for several days, has a problem where the regenerative braking does not work and the parking brake does not engage intermittently. After getting it checked by a Porsche specialist, he said it may be related to the brake recall issue. However, my car was imported from Japan, and Porsche Malaysia, where I currently reside, said that although it is subject to recall, it cannot be repaired because it is a vehicle from Japan.

Are you speaking about the brake hose recall, or the Brake Pedal Travel TSB? If your brake hoses have cracked you would lose fluid and get low fluid messages. Eventually the brake would stop working. This sounds different. But it is outrageous that they would not replace the brake hoses. That's a safety issue. But likely not the issue you have. I'd find a different dealer that wasn't looney.
