Just received this message from Porsche Connect:

We just verified that FoDs are not yet available for MY22 Taycans. I will post the info in PPN Connect space.

Best regards / Mit freundlichen Grüßen,
Correct, my dealer confirmed the same last Friday. FoD’s will be offered in the future but no timeframe yet.

Best regards / Mit freundlichen Grüßen,
That's in direct contradiction with what PCNA told me over the course of the last few days because I'm having issues with my FOD menus too. They told me that they would call me so I could purchase and they'd push it to the vehicle.

It would make complete sense though if it's just not yet ready for 2022s.

Porsche Center East London confirmed the same - no MY22 FoD as yet
There won't be much to FOD when it is enabled - UK cars have all but 3 of the possible FOD features - Power Steering Plus, Innodrive (assuming you have ACC factory fitted) and PVTS+ - enabled as standard.

The data package is separate and nobody needs this.

Yep - was looking to test Innodrive as have ACC fitted.... already have PSP and PVTS+ (Although the tracker has been a HUGE PAIN - would recommend fully against if insurance hadn't mandated it!)

What PVTS+ issues did you have out of interest?

Chased up my dealer re FOD and the inability to access them and recieved the response below.
"Thank you for your patience with this matter. We have since had communications from Porsche Germany informing us that for now, they have stopped offering Function on Demand. This is not permanent, however we don’t have a timeframe for when it will be offered again. Once it’s back up and running, there is talk of there being an extension of the 3 month free trial for customers for the inconvenience caused, but this has not been 100% confirmed."

I suspect this may only be for MY22 cars? I still see an option to purchase PIRM as an FOD on my MY2020 (although I haven’t tried doing it to see if it goes through) but I also see this note on the purchase screen.

Indeed but no explanation as to 'why'.

I have the same problem so emailed Porsche direct and received the following response:

Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately at this time, due to ongoing testing phases, the availability of all bookable vehicle functions in the Connect store for your new Porsche Taycan will be delayed until further notice.

You will be informed in due time via email once the services are available and please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Best regards,

Looks like its only affecting MY 2022,
a bit dissapointing this wasn't advised when we were spec'ing our cars,
there might be a few things we would have added/removed!

I had an update (OTA) of the Porsche Connect Services (v 5.2.16). Triggered me to have a look if the FOD was available again, and yes it was! Not sure if it's related. Tested by ordering the "Active Lane Keeping" option. About 30 minutes later, it was active on my car and worked like a charm...

Taycan CT MY22.

So I just picked up my MY22 new the other day and I’m not seeing any FOD options on my menus. I assume it would have all current updates.

FOD is not related to OTA software updates.

Depending on the specifications of your car there may be some FOD options available to you. Obviously if you already have a particular option factory installed then you shouldn't expect to see it listed on My Porsche website as an FOD option.

At a minimum you should see the optional data package.

Log into My Porsche website (not App) and go to the Porsche Connect services section and Store to view what might be available.

Note also that there may be a short lag for a new car just recently registered before services are listed.
