Hi, I have seen almost all sw errors, false positives and otherwise, but this one is totally new.

On a highway, I was running low on battery (ie. 30%) vis a vis my destination, put nearest station in Porsche navi, switched to “Range” mode (max 140 km/h, turn off passenger display, eco-mode, etc). 10 seconds after two error messages : “rear right indicator not working” + “rear right braking light not working”. When using the right indicator I could hear a faster clicking sound like when only the front one is working. Could not visually check the braking light.

After 5-7 minutes of driving in Range , things seemed to go back to normal , indicator clicking sound slowed back to normal.
I also tried to switch to “Normal” and “Sport” and back into “Range”, again same 2 errors. I haven’t tried since.

Anyone can advice? Thanks

30% is not low. Range mode light dimming etc kicks in at a much lower SOC - check Porsche Good To Know App as it is mentioned there from memory.

Thanks i did. You are right. Yet a malfunction on breaking lights and indicator is definitely not in order… not sure why taycan does that

Agree, 30% is not 'low', not to mention I would highly doubt that national and international safety regulations would allow the dismantling of safety features (turn/brake signal) to simply conserve energy.

I have no idea, as I am not a Porsche service tech, nor can i diagnose it from afar, but I would bring it in to diagnose the issue as I am pretty confident that whatever is going on, is not by design.
