The bumper reinforcement is different between the sedan and the CT with the cutout being larger on the NG1 equipped CT on the driver's side. Ebay is a great resource for checking part differences.

However, if you're not running the trailer plug harness, the lack of cutout shouldn't be an issue since it doesn't actually interfere with the socket for the bike rack bars.

Also, since you'll need the CT valance/diffuser that has the removable covers on both sides, consider that the Turbo S has a different design than the lower trims.

Update - the cross member (crash beam) is shared across the CT and ST (didn't expect this to be different ), therefore this provides higher confidence the brackets can bolt to a stock ST beam.

Question - do I need to run the trailer plug harness? It ensures the trunk doesn't open and disables the auto braking when reversing correct? Can I manually disable reverse auto brake each time I reverse? I suppose I can try with a cone, but Billy you do know what will happen if I don't use the plug harness?

Next research item is what rear valance do I use? I'm pulling up pictures of Turbo S and 4s CT and trying to figure out the difference.

It's subtle, especially in black, but the Turbo S has these extra "strakes."

The front bumper also has similar differentiation to the lower trims.

Ugh, I'm really hoping the diffuser in the black trim above are two pieces. I would prefer to retain my GTS diffuser.

Separately, can you please assist with my above question regarding the plug harness?

okay did more research at my dealership parts counter. The black facia from a non-GTS car may work. At issue is that the ST rear valance is a two pieces. There's a upper level trim that appears to snap/screw into the black facia, and then a lower valance/diffuser. For the CT (which is the only NG1 fitted wagon here in North America), you can see the diffuser is a single piece.

The hypothesis is that the GTS upper level trim will still fit onto the CT black facia as the shape the same and hopefully the bolt holds are the same for the diffuser underneath.

The only manner at this point is trial and error OR wait for a 2025 GTS ST with NG1 to arrive at dealerships, pull the VIN and then order the GTS ST facia and for guaranteed fitment.

I think I'll start with just taking the rear diffuser off the facia and see if it's even the same shape as the CT's

getting closer. Detailed photos of the CT fascia without the diffuser, providing details of how the valance/diffuser clips into the fascia. Next step is to pull the diffuser/valance off my ST to see if my rear fascia has the same mounting/clipping points.

If you need detailed Turbo S CT rear valance pics, let me know.

Another update. j1.2 GTS ST VINs are now known as they have hit dealer inventory. I found a few cars with the NG1 option code. I've sent the VIN in to my parts department to confirm the diffuser's part number, in addition to the black facia part number.

If the diffuser is the same part number as j1.1, then this research is complete (and I"ll put together a complete parts list to for retrofit). Here is an actual USDM j1.2 ST with NG1 (note the driver side cover flap on the black valance) Stay tuned.
