Hi all,

I've got a CT 4S on order. Trying to finalize my build, and I keep going back and forth on colors. I'm leaning towards the olea basalt black with neodyme accents and paldao trim (chalk exterior). I've tried to find photos of the olea black + neodyme, but I haven't found any... making it hard to pull the trigger and pick a final color scheme.

Does anyone have any real life photos of a similar config?

Thanks!

I would seriously consider the two-tone leather (black, crayon). I have this and it really helps lift the interior. I have seen the neodyme in another car and it is not as 'coppery' as it seems in the configurator. Personally not a fan but I like the way you have matched it with the clock.
I would also suggest model deletion or gloss black with Crayon/Chalk - in the standard silver it seems washed out.

Yeah... I was originally planning on the black + beige or black + chalk because I like the two tone look, and I usually prefer lighter color interiors. Makes it feel brighter inside.

But then I sat in the one of our cars that has a beige interior, and I studied it because I need to lock our CT build. After 6 years of ownership... that leather has not aged well. Lots of stains, just generally looks dirty. Meanwhile all of the black interior cars I've had looked fine over time. It's making me second guess.

My only gripe with the single tone black leather is that I think it's boring, but (in the configurator at least) the paldao and neodyme make it a lot more interesting. Just not sure how it'd look in person.

Too many choices

I agree with the beige over time. If you look at the configurator the chalk/black has black on the doors, so marks less of an issue as it is only the seat fronts and bolsters that are chalk plus the feature line below the dash, whereas beige has beige on the doors. I did have leather protection for what it is worth.

It's boring. Theses interiors look incredible in 2-tone.

Get the Meranti Brown Olea with neodyme and wood, looks stunning.

Some pictures of my Taycan's Olea Basalt Black & Neodyne. It looks classy and smells different (better?) than regular leather. Apparently the back of the front seats is in Olea as well (as opposed to plastic).

@TT459S Those pictures are super helpful, thanks... how do you feel about the neodyme trim (vs dark silver) with the black leather? Wondering how you chose between the two.

I think at the time Neodyne comes with Olea Black by default - unless dark silver is ordered specifically. For me, it looks nicer, but that's personal taste. I would also say that Olea Black is not as black as Black Leather (if you know what I mean) - I haven't compared it side by side, so maybe its just perception... (and I am a bit colour blind too  )

Hi, I've been trying to see the same thing, of whether the basalt olea is darker or the leather. It's hard to compare. Do you think the basalt is actually lighter (like more grayish) ?

Yes i think black leather looks a bit darker - all depends on where you see the car - showroom, outside cloudy, sunny. My personal opinion is that basalt olea looks classier - very subjective!
