So I’ve been toying with ordering a gts and swapping to a cheaper car temporarily since all my trips this year are flights. Anyone bought/sold a similar 2020 4s recently?

21500 miles, cross country trip no issues.

Dont trade. Just list on autrader you would get more than trade value. Dealers will reach out to you. List high, you will get decent offers.

Carvana told me the car was "over their purchase limit". Vroom didn't. And Carmax made me a killer offer too.

You can get surprisingly good offers from the car buying services and retail. I would go that route over the hassle of selling it yourself. You should also talk to your dealer and see what they might agree to on a trade/pre-trade.

With that being said, this morning’s global environment is one where I would not be giving up an EV right now.

Yes currently driving my EV more than my ICE cars and with gas now $4.80 at some places...am not sad at having the opportunity. Glad made the move to the Taycan CT4 and moved my wife to a BMW hybrid X3 last summer now. Much less gas price vulnerability...
