I am pretty sure it is acrylic or treated glass as they state to not use cleaning products directly on it, but I don’t know the definitive answer. I will say whatever the surface is, it sure loves fingerprints!Curious question. I asked the service department and they didn’t know. Are the screens in the car glass or acrylic? I feel like they are glass but not positive. Kinda affects what route I take to clean them if they are acrylic!
Not sure but only use a soft microfibre cloth, nothing elseCurious question. I asked the service department and they didn’t know. Are the screens in the car glass or acrylic? I feel like they are glass but not positive. Kinda affects what route I take to clean them if they are acrylic!
not sure if you have ever ordered adams car care products BUT they have a double and triple thick microfiber cloths and what’s nice is they are super thick. What’s great about that is you can’t apply a lot of pressure in one spot which is what really makes scratches.I ordered the 3 pack of microfibre available from Porsche. Bit pricey for what they are but look great
Use a thicker microfiber cloth. The one I use to clean my glasses turns the screen on. A thicker one similar to what I use polish my car after waxing does not turn it on.Did anyone figure out how to switch off the screens so you can clean them? So far I tried PCM power off, vehicle power off, PCM and vehicle power off, power off and lock the car..... you see where this is going. Each time I touch the screen it wakes up.....
