Edit: Seems like these vessel tracking websites are split on where this ship is actually going. Some say NL, some say UK. I'm not convinced it's going anywhere but USA until it's in the open sea...

Some info I posted a while back. Not unusual for your update to happen after the vessel has left. However, if the name of the vessel is not listed in TYD (as Estimated) there is a chance you did not make it on the vessel.

TYD usually update after 8 PM Eastern standard time. Check it later , it should update .

Let’s try two things . First , put your phone on landscape mode . Second , use a computer . Trust me , everything is there .

So you're actually supposed to see the vessel name under the "on vessel" section? That would be nice. Another way for us to tell if we're on the boat or not is if the green dot connection goes away. That should happen around the time the boat is out fully on the north sea, far enough away from any other wireless internet connections.

Prior to it getting on the ship? Sorry for the incessant questions. This is new to me, I thought that it only showed up after you got on the ship. But it's not like Porsche wouldn't know what ship your car is assigned to ahead of time...

No worries. I was there...and I had it easy relatively speaking to the waits all of you are going through.

So what you will see happens with TYD is that if you get progressed to "On Vessel" milestone it will say "Estimated Date XXXXX" and under it will list the vessel name. Usually the same same day late at night it will update to "Actual Date xxxxx" and vessel name will still show.

If your are still showing current milestones as "Arrived at Emden" , click on the "On vessel" milestone to make sure nothing is appearing there.

If it doesn't update in a day or two...unfortunately most likely it didn't make the ship.

Thank you. With that consideration, I have a feeling I'm not on it. That being said, the Confucius (next East USA vessel) is due 11/15 in Emden, so what's a one week wait in the grand scheme of things (been waiting for almost a year now!)?
