uPdate issues: Navigation stuck “Calculating Charging Plan…”

Happened to me too. I asked a friend who also has a Taycan and he also said that it happens on occasion but goes away after the car sits for 30 minutes locked. It went away for me too after I sat for 40 minutes charging at a pit stop.

This one is quite bad. Just as I was starting to like the PCM Nav. If it ever happens again, I'll try entering the destination 4 times (and maybe do a backflip two times) to see if that fixes it. That sounds really crazy though. I did try to re-enter it, but not sure if I went up to 4.

Can you reboot while driving? Is the reboot referred to here the one where you hold two fingers at the corner and then "Exit Engineering"?

Enter the destination, then delete it and re-enter?
OR
Enter the destination once, then enter the destination and "replace the current destination", and repeat until entered four times?

In other words, uPdate screws up the nav function. (but it's ok cause they tell you about it....)

yes that’s the reboot, I perform it while driving to remedy this and it doesn’t seem to cause any issues.

Happened to me on a drive back to Canada from Florida. Had to rely on knowing range to the next Electrify America Charger. Spinning Wheel of Death, did reset overnight. Perhaps I am to blame as I was inputting other stops prior to my end destination for the day

Going to give it another try Feb 22nd, driving to Florida again. Has worked well since I had the update.

Seems to be very random, if it happens or not. Once I have the problem, I can do nothing but wait, that it disapears. Can take a few days.
