My Taycan 4S even in LIFT mode scrapes a little on the Plastic guard underside at the front of the car when coming out of my drive, the level of the road vs. my driveway is what causes the problem, I think to solve it the only way would be to increase the actual level of the public road (or grind down some mono-blocking at the end of the drive, none of which are easy).
It’s not much of a scrape, I take it very slowly and have tried all matter of angles coming out and reversing and forward both have the same results. I used to get it now and again on my 911 and then moved to a Cayenne so never had the problem, with the Taycan it’s every time I leave my drive.
Looking around for solution https://sliplo.shop/ is an option I guess that’s mentioned on a few sites, I think it doesn’t look great but not sure how noticeable it would be when on the Taycan or completely hidden?
The other option is I just leave it, it’s only the plastic guard that is getting scraped (slightly) on the underside of the car – you can’t see it, I could just leave it and if it comes up in an inspection in 2/3 years time when I come to change the car just get a replacement – I think they are about £200 or so, so not too expensive.
Thoughts- Anyone else have the same problem?
