- 2023 Taycan GTS Sport Turismo MAPEV + 2014 Audi RS6 Avant APR
Last year I had a 2014 RS6 Avant (@690 PS) and a 2021 Cayman GTS 4.0 PDK (@470 PS), and decided to replace the RS6 with a Taycan GTS Sport Turismo (as my first electric car)–but to my surprise I found that the Taycan actually replaced the Cayman more than it replaced the RS6 (at least for me), so I sold the Cayman and bought back the RS6 (which I still have, but now I actually feel that the Taycan will do just fine as my only car, so I have again decided to sell the RS6...

I only visit the track a couple of times a year, and as I get older (I'm 59) I feel less and less inclined to have a more uncompromising sports car; sure, a 718 GT4 RS or a 992 GT3 would be fantastic to have, but I would probably almost never drive them daily when I have the Taycan GTS in the garage.
To me, the Taycan actually drives pretty much like the Cayman due to it's low center of gravity and excellent balance (with better acceleration), and it's only in higher speeds in tight bends and when braking in higher speeds that the Taycan reminds me of it's massive weight (2470 kg vs 1560 kg in the Cayman). Sure, if I was taking my car to the track more frequently, the Cayman would be more fun to drive there than the Taycan, but the difference (again, to me) really isn't that big to motivate having a 2-seater along with the Taycan.
I would say that the Taycan is 70% Cayman and 30% RS6, so there's no more perfect hybrid of these two fantastic cars than the Taycan.
