I was told the same in February but manage to "lock" mine with Bose ten days ago.

May i ask when did you pay your deposit and processed order? do you also have a delivery date yet?

i have thought about upgrading the sound system using a third party, would it affect the volume when it comes to sales?btw, do you have a place to recommend to get it done? thanks

If you go for a stock look I don't see how it will affect the car value but it might void some warranty parts.

Deposit July 23 and locked order w/c 20/03. Build date 11th May.....then who knows when it will arrive in Glasgow.

Interesting. Seems there's no fixed time between lock and production start.

First time mine locked was Feb 28th with build beginning march 17th.

Later it unfroze (heater drama) and froze again march 24th with expected build start April 21st. Delivery planned May 5th.

Thanks for your reply, i had a Audi standard A6 without sound system upgraded, and it was not great, hope Porsche standard sound system is slightly better, as i do enjoy music in the car.

It’s no better. The base Porsche system is a tinny sounding turd. I bought a 911 with it a few years back and thought it was awful.
