State Inspections - Houston specific

My first State Inspection is up this Dec and was curious as to where you (if applicable) brought your car to be inspected. It should of course ONLY require the Safety Inspection i.e. obviously not an emissions vehicle so technically it should cast about $7 as the other $18 for ICE cars is for that emissions test - but thats not the issue here. My main reason for asking is more towards finding a competent outfit - so many Teslas out there that there has to be a decent amount of EV experience amongst testers.

I am in the Meyerland area and if anyone has a good recommendation (i.e. one where I do not have to argue over what needs to be inspected!). I'd appreciate any suggestions,

Took my Tesla to the Jiffy Lube on Holcombe @ Buffalo Speedway for years without issue. Expect I’ll take my Taycan there when the time comes.

Thx for sharing - went to a local garage that I’d fueled at many times before but first time with inspection and it was excellent and super fast - so good to go!
