Taycan 2021 Recalls

Hello,

I am considering buying a used Taycan Turbo 2021 model with 14,000 KM on it, and I just checked the history with the Porsche dealer. It has been going to service regularly and all seems good. However, the Porsche Center told me that there are three recalls on it. Are these normal recalls? Should I be worried?

- Replacing brake hose the left and right from axle
- Re-Programming PSM control unit
- Replacing electric passenger compartment heater

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, the first 2 are very common recalls on almost all Taycans.

Thanks for the reply! Are they just preventative recalls? Or are they defects in the PSM system and the brake hose? I am so new to EVs and still learning a lot and not sure if this is just something that needs changing and updating with time, or if this is a faulty thing with the Taycan.

Preventative recalls. There was no accident caused by these recalls.

Porsche has a stop sale due to these recalls on all Taycan worldwide, they have to fix these recalls before they can deliver the Taycan to you.

Many of existing Taycan owners are waiting for parts, some dealers prioritize new owner to make a sale.

Yup, I had those 3 done on my taycan one month ago as well
