I took my 21 CT to the dealer last week to address the two recalls (break hoses and HV battery).

today I picked up my car with new front break hoses, they also flushed the break system.

mom the HV battery recall they said they ran and downloaded a diagnostic and sent it to Porsche. If there is an issue with it Porsche will contact me but from their POV the recall was solved.

Attached you can see the docs.

Some other stuff:
- they gave my car clean (I took it like quite dirty)
- I had an ICE macan as a loaner (I love I get loaners) but man I cannot drive another ICE car, so different.
- I stepped in an Macan EV and I need to say I loved it. So much more spacious inside and feels more premium than the Taycan. I would buy one but I know value will crash so I will get one in 2-3 years.

but when I saw my car and sat into it, I felt home. I really love my Taycan.

Paperwork is misleading. There is nothing the dealer can do for ARB7, I just went and asked them for it. Recall is not solved. Everyone is waiting on the BMCe software update for battery health monitoring.

Sitting in Macan EV does not count. You need to drive it. More practical, yes, but drives like a van. I drove RWD, 4, and 4S. All too big, too heavy, and no fun on roundabout or turns. They are piling up on my dealer lot. Also, endless issues with hardware and software. All of the above had one issue or another. Go to the sister forum and indulge yourself.

The invoice sure looks like they think they did the BMCe reprogramming! I mean it says that. But I agree it is likely they did not, but merely checked the battery (I believe that’s actually ARB6). Their computer should not have let them enter that. This forum is often more knowledgeable than the service advisers in these matters. And also, what makes you think they flushed the brake fluid? Unless they felt generous, there was no need to go beyond refilling the small amount drop that would result from bleeding.

If they said flush, that’s a different matter. But you might call and challenge whether you really got the BMCe monitoring software update and say others are telling you that’s not available yet.

That is interesting. This is done only under ARB6 where they have to generate the VAL and send it to Porsche. They did this for a MY22 GTS for a customer last week with ARB6. I was just at the dealer and asked them if they could do the same for me under ARB7 and they said no, this is not done for ARB7 as the monitoring of the cells is done via OTA consistent with ARB7 definition. I can assure you that BMCe software is not available to anyone, it has not been released.
