Can I ask please.
Your text above infers that the plastic parts were painted before the Claritycoat was applied but I thought that the Claritycoat is applied in either clear or whatever colour you want to make the colour change in order for it to be reversible?
So basically I thought that the plastic bits did not require painting before the Claritycoat is applied.

Nothing is painted nor sanded with PPS. There are multiple layers of the PPS that go on to the plastics. Once the PPS is peeled off the car will be back to standard rough plastic as from factory.

Similar to what has been done by @TAYC4N - got mine back this morning.

Fantastic job done again by Auto Forensics.

Front spiltter, front intakes, side skirts and rear bumper all sprayed gloss black and then the whole car fully protected with Claritycoat PPS and topped off with Labo Cosmetica ceramic coating.

Can't recommended highly enough.

I opted to have them painted and then Claritycoat applied on top in clear as I didn’t need to have it reversible. You can have Claritycoat applied in any colour of your choosing which would then make it completely reversible.

Sorry to bombard you with questions but just want to understand all options before committing to colour coding.
Is there any reason you went to the trouble of having the plastics parts sanded down, painted and then ClarityCoated PPS in clear when you could have just ClarityCoated PPS in Gloss Black without the hassle and extra cost of sanding and painting?

The cost wasn't any different - so I went with the option of it being a permanent change. No difference really - just a choice I made at the time.

Exactly....why cheap textured plastic and not high gloss finish (either in black or carbon fiber). It the same application as when I had my Jeep Grand Cherokee from the mid 90’s.

Black smooth finish is the standard at least....

It’s beyond me why didn’t Porsche do it from the start, who thinks this matte plastic looks elegant and nice...
