Hey Everyone.

Staying true to form in my itch to seemingly get a new car every year to enjoy the most aggressive depreciation possible I’ve once again made a leap.

Haven’t yet, but will soon sell (interested?) my ‘24 Taycan Turbo S, which I’ve absolutely loved. Quick, reliable, endlessly fun to drive.

An opportunity that seemed too good to be true came along on a 992.1 Turbo S and I jumped at it.

Paint to sample in gulf blue
Custom manufaktur extended cognac leather interior
All the other bells and whistles you want on this spec including the Sonderwunsch customization program.

I only drove it a few miles to storage for now as it’s got performance tires that didn’t like the NY streets but I’m looking forward to getting to know it.

Maybe this time a car I buy will hold value.

Stage 1 tune with akropovic exhaust coming soon to get it up to some of those Taycan Turbo GT numbers.

Cheers.

Congrats! Beautiful spec on the 911. But don't you know you're supposed to keep both? Taycan TS does great on snowy NY roads!

I think you’re right. It does. I have the all seasons on it which helps a lot in NY but I got into a truck this fall for that.

I actually wouldn’t mind keeping both except for the insurance payments. I have a 17 year old on my policy along with other cars and it’s killing me. It would feel like I’m renting it from the insurance companies if I kept both

Spectacular appearance and a beautiful car. Wow!
You won't be lacking attention with that.
(Are you as sexy as the car ??)
Just think, the PCCB-yellow almost never fits into any built and I'm happy having mine in black.

I would be interested to hear if you find the turbo lag annoying in normal driving.
Even before I experienced the instant throttle response and wide power band of an EV I found turbo cars unacceptable for normal use.

Pretty impressive when flat out but poor for conditions here for overtaking, for example, unless left in a low gear all the time just in case..

Congrats , I just bought a targa and decided to keep the Taycan too - couldn’t bare to “give it away”, both scratch a very particular itch and they both do it so well ..

it’s on my mind for sure since the Taycan was so responsive. I’m guessing the sound and the stage 1 tune will more than compensate however.

When I bought my Taycan I was looking for a quiet comfortable car with space for my dog and a good turn of speed if I needed it. Probably not typical...

It is better in both those senses than I hoped, so perfect for me.
I already had a normally aspirated sports car making a nice noise (though I find that wearing on road trips between scenic spots).
