Hi All,

New to the forum. Was hoping to get thoughts on my order: https://porsche-code.com/PS22VE44 before it finalizes. Anything I ordered I shouldn’t? Anything I’m missing? I live in NY and drive into the city pretty often (thus the Innodrive for traffic).

I’m currently driving a BMW M850 and I love road feel so I thought the Porsche Adaptive suspension was both expensive and would ruin the road feel.

FWIW, I’m leasing so not as worried about the depreciation of new.

I’m a little worried about the 21s as I do have some dirt roads out where I live, but coming from run flats it will only be better.

Thanks!

Tastes differ, so best to pick whatever equipment, colors, accents that you like.. If I was to suggest one option you didn't choose -dashcam prep might be a good investment if you're planning to install dashcams. I always do, on all cars. You can use it for Porsche or non-Porsche dashcams.

Welcome to the forum.
Very nice spec.
Consider including gloss black window trim.
Also, summer tires are standard. If you want all-season tires you must option them.

I'm assuming you're NA based.

All personal choices but I don't see the point of the CT over the ST - cosmetically the ST looks better due to the absence of the redundant plastic add-ons. Additional height of 20mm is just not material and besides you have air suspension and can raise the height to accommodate most if not all scenarios when needed.

No point in paying for HD Matrix lights if the feature set is disabled - check with the dealer but this has been a long standing issue for matrix lights in general impacting NA.

Gloss black window surrounds

Nice colour (seen Turbo GT in same colour)

VLC pano - standard looks better as the opaqueness for the VLC is visible from the outside and largely adds no value.

Neodyme accents are awful (sorry) IMHO

Rear AC largely pointless - small cabin, uses more energy for little gain

Racetex rooflining - normally reserved for the GTS so why not get the GTS ST instead?

In general, there are few options that you've specified that arguably don't add a lot of value and the big missing (now) is Porsche Active Ride (you have the other chassis options but not this one) which is where Porsche suspension is now at. I would sacrifice VLC, racetex, 4-zone AC etc for this one option.

I also believe that if you don't specify the rear cargo net (fold away) then you miss out on additional anchor points in the rear seat compartment which may / may not be of interest.

Same reaction as others.
Nice exterior color, but black window frames and the neodyme accents look out of place. Maybe more coherent if you took the wheels in the same color ?
Porsche Taycan Thoughts on my Taycan 4S CT Order? Pale-Blue-Neodym

And then following the same train of thought, there's the option of deviated stitching in Atacama which goes really well with your neodyme accents ... ?
Porsche Taycan Thoughts on my Taycan 4S CT Order? Atacama-beige-stitching

All matters of personal preference of course.

Porsche Active Ride is a hefty expense, but the rave reviews it gets make me really impatient to get mine. Possibly the biggest innovation in J1.2.

Thank you so much. I didn’t see the option to make the trim black. Curious, I was told the the Active Ride lessens the road feel. As I mentioned, I love the feeling of taking a corner etc… Will that go away? Can you turn it off? It makes tons of sense for potholes etc.

I was thinking about the GTS but I want gravel mode and to be honest couldn’t get the same discount on a new order than i could with the CT.

awesome build. I would also add Remote Parking Assist of the additional 3D camera views. Other than that, a very solid build. I especially like the selection of the compass display, very unique.

I missed that it came with surround view, I thought it was only for the app based function. Thanks!!

Anyone here have thoughts on the road handling of Active Ride? As I mentioned I love road feel and worry that it will get rid of it or not worth it.
