Thoughts on this preowned Frozen Berry 4S?

Hey All, going to test drive this frozen berry 4s tomorrow.

-30,946 miles
-ACC

It is preowned but not CPO, being sold by a used car dealer (carbeeco in costa mesa).

Never bought a used car before and am nervous about it not being CPO but it’s been hard to find a frozen berry 4s.

what are some things I should look out for?
Questions I should ask?
I can ask them to have a prepurchase check by a porsche mechanic?

I would not buy a taycan without a warranty.
This is a good way to get your feet wet though.

Get the carfax
How many owners?
Any accidents?
Any paint work?
How many owners?
Battery health?
Was this car from an auction?
Is it a SoCal car?
New tires?
Brake condition?

All these are answered as a CPO and you qualify for the lemon law just in case

To your last question about a Porsche dealer inspecting the car.
Yes, it's called a PPI (Pre Purchased Inspection). Porsche wil charge for this (I believe around $1000). You should absolutely do this, but ask your questions first. If the dealer can't answer then move on to the next car.

Your failure points on an EV are rare, but when they happen, it's bad.

Same thoughts here - I wouldn't buy w/o warranty. If finding a CPO is tricky, try to find a 2021 that's still under the original warranty. You'd want at least 6mo to cover any possible issues. I'm selling mine of course (see signature), but it's not the color you're looking for.

It’s the same procedure when buying any other car, (get a PPI) I’ve owned 57 cars 11 of which were Porsche‘s always get a PPI, it’s a spectacular car, the closest thing to driving an electric 911

I love the green, I still get compliments daily. Seems harder to resell though? I'm going to give it another few weeks and list it on an auction site probably hmm.

Yeah, I'm sure it's more difficult to sell than a more common color but oh well. Hopefully your ownership experience was worth the more difficult time selling it.

Color has been the best honestly. I'm going to put the car on Cars & Bids and see if I can find someone else that likes the green as much as we do
