Track Your Dream App of questionable usefulness?

TYP shows my '23 4S as loaded on the vessel, Supreme Ace on 11/14. BTW, my dealer emailed me with the same information. As of 10 minutes ago, 11/21, TYP shows it is still in Emden on the vessel. When I track the Supreme Ace, I see it departed 11/15 and is now about 30% across the Atlantic. Is this typical of the timeliness/accuracy of the app or might we have a case of "operator error", aka me?!
Anyone else experience similar delays/inaccuracies in reporting the status of the vehicle?
Also, I had heard, never confirmed, that TYP makes photos available of the build during the assembly process. Is that correct or was I misinformed? Thanks.

Welcome to TYD. Having said that, the phase following 'on vessel' is reaching the destination port. Also, TYD shows "accomplished" milestones and so what you see is technically correct: your car is on the vessel (lucky you, mine missed the same boat) and has not yet arrived at its destination.

You should have seen photos from the assembly line posted sometime near/after the completion of production. Also check the existing threads on this topic.

Mine still shows scheduled for production despite having received it in May.

Mine seems “fairly on” track …although I just got an email today saying it finished production. According to app production finished last week ..now it’s supposedly on its way to emden port, it’s been saying that for a few days now…supposedly delivery date at dealership in CT , dec 17th. I’ve seen no pics as of yet …

Welcome to TYD. Having said that, the phase following 'on vessel' is reaching the destination port. Also, TYD shows "accomplished" milestones and so what you see is technically correct: your car is on the vessel (lucky you, mine missed the same boat) and has not yet arrived at its destination.

However, I doubt that as that the status hasn't changed since before I began tracking the ships course. TYD still shows my vehicle hasn't left port. Oh yes, one other issue, Porsche indicates the ship's destination is Houston, but the tracking services indicate Halifax. I imagine that is merely a mid voyage unloading location but once again, it highlights the questionable efficacy of the Porsche TYD.
Best of luck to you. Hopefully your vehicle will only be a few weeks behind mine given you just missed the Supreme Ace sailing.

That’s is what it is, mine is on different vessel that is reaching Panama Canal soon and TYD still show “On Vessel” at Emden, it does not show “live” ship/vehicle position and won’t update until it reach next milestone which is the destination port.

And yes, Halifax, NS is just the first stop to unload for your vessel then it goes on to Jacksonville, FL and then Houston, TX.
