Tracker key fob battery life

So the car was just over 3yrs old when I purchased from a non Porsche dealer and the keyfobs were missing. I bought second hand ones off eBay so they needed pairing up which took about 30 minutes at the dealership. I've not used the second one as often as the primary I randomly selected, but when I have that one is flat too, so I fear both are draining rapidly. I could ask Porsche to replace them, but seeing as I didn't buy from them in the first place I'm not sure how successful that will be.... hmm, def doesn't seem normal though eh!
