I'm taking delivery of a 2024 Taycan soon. Dealership says that a tracker is extra @ £750.
Not sure its worth it....anyone got any experience or thoughts on best way forward?
There must be alternatives out there.....

Thanks in advance.

That’s not correct. Porsche Vehicle Tracking Service (PVTS) is a built in service, but is an annual subscription you activate via My Porsche.

Porsche Taycan Trackers IMG_1160

it’s around £250/year.

Just make sure they give you the two tracking fobs that should come with every car!

Also consider if you actually need the tracker (PVTS). Can be a faff to carry the fob.

Only get it if your insurer requires. I've not read about a stolen Taycan, touch wood.

Thanks, dealership didnt seem too keen either!
If your insurance company doesn't insist then that's another factor.

I have it but is no longer an insurance requirement so I may not renew the subscription (car is trackable regardless given it is always online).

I didn't bother with it on my Macan.

Feature set is worth reviewing before deciding.
