Added Satin Xpel PPF and all plastic parts redone with matching black satin paint as PPF doesn’t work. Also added carbon fiber finishes via hydro transfer on the side mirrors, front and rear diffusers, side skirts, front and side air intakes and rear windshield spoiler. Lastly ceramic coating on all external surfaces including yellow brake calipers, and ceramic glass coating on all glass including roof.
With the original satin rims the MY23 is now fully black satin and carbon fiber. Installer nice enough to include the electric emblem in matching yellow. Didn’t spec it initially but Xpel PPF had this already cut out so added it and it’s a nice touch. Took about a month and so far very happy with the result - thanks to many on this forum for the inspiration (some pics attached). I’m now after a solution for curb scratch protection for the rims. Alloygators don’t fit, so considering rimblades. Also would like flooring for the garage and leaning towards Swisstrax. All ideas welcomed for both!!.
