Garage dented rim and chipped wheel

So I took my car to Porsche this morning. They said they’d repair the rim for free but they wouldn’t change the tire. Tire replacement would be free too but to them, it’s just a cosmetic damage on the tire and doesn’t need a replacement. I didn’t get the rim repaired - for now .

Theres a cut in the sidewall of the tire and the Porsche dealer is saying its cosmetic damage?! LOL.
Have them put it in writing and call the tire manufacturer corporate here in US and see what they say........
This on a vehicle you can't have a tire plugged or patched that is rated in excess of 165mph. Yeah, sure.

I was told by my dealer that the wheel and tire insurance, which I purchased, is limited to a total of 8 repairs. Is this true? Anyone have this same experience?

My dealer didn’t give me Porsche wheel and tire insurance. They sold me Sensio. which is unlimited

I was quoted $2700 in March by my SA for tire/wheel insurance for my on-order Taycan. No $limit, but it is limited to 8 occurrences
