Lol

Main beam is fixed, definitely no cornering ability. Unfortunately our matrix is deactivated thanks to our southern brothers so never got to see matrix cornering lights in action

I had an object flung at me on the highway and scratched the drive side cover (it had PPF too!). Had to replace the whole hole headlight which costs $3800 yikes!. Plus labor for recalibration etc.

I’m happy to take that headlight after it gets repaired! I’m a lighting engineer and have dozens of modules from various headlights on my desk as inspiration and reference.

I’m unclear on this system. Do any country versions have mechanically swiveling mount? I thought this system worked by selectively turning on/off the LEDs, where the lens(es) are such that they effectively all point at slightly different angles so the spread is controlled by which LEDs are lit. Is that incorrect?

For the US market, I think there’s a Porsche description that says that all LEDs operate as one instead of the true matrix capability. That might imply that the lens is different since all LEDs will probably be on full time and it has to conform to the headlight regulations.
