It’s basically cosmetic damage in an area you never see. Not sure how/why this would affect your warranty. Personally I wouldn’t fix it, but that’s me.ive just had my 4S into the dealer to look at the sat nav which keeps locking, they have sent me a video showing a hole in the front and damage to the rear battery cover on the underside of the car.
They are saying that it is an advisory item but one needs done in 2 months and 1 in 12 months and have quoted £1300 to swap them over.
Ive declined so i can get my car back while doing my homework but i can buy the original Porsche parts for less than £500 so thinking of getting a local garage to do the work but now Porsche have a log of the issue could it void my warranty when i take it back for a service in September if they notice.

Not sure why they made up random deadlines of 2 and 12 months either. That’s absurd.
