VW and Audi at Chinese Autoshow

There is Audi and Audi. (4 circles like we know it and the word Audi). The brand with just the word is a Chinese-focussed branch of Audi. For the Chinese market, all Audis are EVs. I suspect VW has the same marketing strategy. So that explains the presence at the Beijing autoshow.

I like the design a lot. Here are some examples:

It's mistaken to think any western auto brand is even thinking about not trying to compete or not wanting to be part of the chinese auto market. It is the biggest car market in the world.

Even ford was there, with their china only EV Bronco - also chinse engineered, with a bronco badge.
